29 Jun

Hi Adam & Give Global Team,

Greetings you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know you and your team has been interesting to know how your precious gift have been spent. First I would like to share with you and your team regarding the fund that you have raised with a name Give Global. This special idea is from God. He gave you this special idea to raise fund for our center in Musekee. I always thankful to God for your Global team for working together to be able to raise such fund to meet the need of the needy people. Yes even before you have raised or send the money God has already had a plan to spend those money. He already sent needy people to the center waiting God’s help through your Give Global. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! He is in control.

You have heard the story of the three families who came to look for help:
1. Mrs. La and her two sons
She is from Maeka, near Chiangmai, she comes from Hmong tribes. She has two sons. Husband left her with two sons. Her decision was to give away her children to others and go away because she found out that she wouldn’t be able to raise her two children by herself. Family from Chiang Mai called me to help. So we decided to let her come to take care her own children under our care. She is so happy that she has a place to live with her children and some one to love her and her children.

2. Mrs. Wanasin and her one son
She has been married to Thai for 15 years, but always difficult for her to adjust herself into Thai society. She always felt excluded in her own husband family. It was always frustrated for her to continue to be in the society where she is not accepted. Her husband and relatives always encourage and challenge her to leave them. End of last year she decided to come over to the center in Musekee.

3. Mr. Lark, his wife, and his son
They arrived in Musekee from Isan area with a hope that they could look a job in a Strawberry farm. Where as no family grow Strawberry in Musekee. So they end up with no hope to support themselves. First they were taken care by one of the teachers house but could not stay with them for a long time because of many reasons. So they let them go into their own way where as they have no place they planning to sleep under the tent. When we find them out we let them come and be a part of our family.

After reading these three families stories I hope you do understand better why you work so hard to raise all the fund you have sent to us. God always bless those we help, the poor, needy and widow.

James 1:27 – “Religion that God our father accepts as pure and faultless is this to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
Psalm 82:3 – “Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless. Maintain the right of the poor and oppressed.”
Psalm 22:9 – “A generous man will himself be blessed for he shares his food with the poor.”

Here is the report how the special gift of Global was spent :
35 % – to support the needy family and fatherless and widow families
15 % – to send the light that never fails to the dark – the Evangelistic team to reach the non-Christian in Maehongson Province, near border of Burma.
30 %- Spent to support the children who are in the college. Now we have more and more children wanted to go for college. The college fund is always needed.
20 % Start sending staff and students to gain the special training to establish small business to be a self-sustaining project for the future. Special training on Cutting Hair, Brick Making, Food, Photo Shop and others skills (depend on the budget).

You may think what can be the next or what do we need. The above points are always needed and good to support. Of course there are some more important project which can be one time support for a long term future. Always first is prayer support is always first and important.

We need prayer support for the following:
1. Food for the children at the center or Hostel
2. Building Hostel and home for the families
3. Financial support to start different small business. People are welcome to volunteer help start some businesses with us: self-sustaining project will help provide job and some support toward the center in the future.
4. Transportation: God has blessed us in many ways. Now we have 4 centers at four villages, but we need more traveling to supervise the different centers. And also God has blessed us more and more by sending more visitors to spent time with us. All our vehicle are getting old and not convenient for visitors. Now we felt the need of good vehicle. We would like our friends to help us in asking God to provide vehicle.

When will you be able to come and visit us in Musekee as a team?
This year we have 62 children at the Hostel including a new families. We cannot stop thanking you all for your prayer and financial support that we are able to continue to feed the needy and help children to receive education and have better life. Please continue to remember us in your prayer that we will always be strengthen to do what God wants us to do for others. He has given us vision we need to take action toward the vision what God has given us. Vision without action is in vain action without vision is waste of time. We are in God’s hand, but God’s work is in our hand. Where does my help comes from? My help comes from the Lord the Maker of Heaven and earth He will not fail ???? (Psalm 121).

God bless you,

Dr. Zothansiami Ralte (Mama Tete)

MUSEKEE NEWS (from Mama Tete)

23 May

I am excited to let you know what is going on in Musekee, Thailand. We continue to praise God for giving us chance and opportunity to serve Him in serving others and bless others who are in need.

THE CENTER

Newcomers come from Hwuihpha, Hwuihnamsom, and Chaemnoi
This year we now have 12 boys. We have also been using system of older care for the younger, since we have more and more older children at the Hostel. We thank God for their potential to care for the younger children.

New Twin girls
Our Boonkham and Khamboon have graduated from High School and left us to go for further study. To replace them we have new twins girls from E-oh-Khee. Their names are Fuhn and Fa, and they study in grade 3. We still have three pairs of twins at the center.

OTHER PEOPLE

Family from Srisaket Udom (Mr.Lark, his wife, and son)
They lost their way, came all the way to Wat-chan looking for a strawberry garden to work. They have been asking people where they can work, but they do not know anybody in Wat-Chan and have nowhere to sleep. One of the workers at the district office took pity on them when they saw them. So we let them go our garden and live there right now. His wife cannot speak properly and doesn’t know much about work, so husband always need to care for the family. They are not Christian, yet we know that they are creation of God. Please pray for Mr. Lark family that they will know God and feel God’s love and they will be touched by God and give their lives to Him and live for Him.

Woman with two sons (7-month-old and two-year-old boy)
They come from Fang District, Chiangmai province. I got an urgent called from Chiangmai asking me to adopt 7 years old boy. I wonder what is going on and want to know more information about the baby. Then I found out that there is a woman who has two sons and husband run away from her. She thought she has no others choice for her children except to give away her children away to someone who can care for her children. After discussing with the children and staffs we make decision that we want the woman to come along with her two children. Now they enjoy living together as a family. She has been taking care of her own children. She is happy in Musekee.

Karen Lady and son from Maedaet
She is divorce from marrying Thai. Why she is willing to be divorced is because of the discrimination between Tribal and Thai. There is always big gap in between the Hill-tribe and city. She needs to make decision to leave before it’s too late. Now she is allowed to take care of one of her son. His name is Future.
